Grippo, the vineyard bearing the same name as the hillside area representing the tradition of the PGI Benaco from Brescia.


Grape blend:70% Merlot, 30% Sangiovese
Exposure:South/East - Alt. 190 m. above sea level
Soil texture:Morainic, medium-textured, loose, good drainage, grassy
Yield per hectare:7.5 tons
Density:4,500 vines/hectare
Canopy management:Defoliation and leaf thinning
Vinification:Maceration, fermentation with selected yeasts, maturation and fining in French oak barrique barrels for at least 24 months. Bottled 3 years after harvesting.
